Please answer quick. I need to make a cake and have a bag of powered sugar. Hurrrrry!|||If you mean a one-pound box, then it's just about 3 3/4 cups.|||POWDERED SUGAR IS HALF THE WEIGHT OF GRANULATED SUGAR THERES 16 OZ'S IN A BOX . I WOULD SAY FOUR CUPS|||It'll tell you that on the package label.|||I think most boxes are 24. oz. so a cup would be about 2 1/2 cups.|||Boxes of powdered sugar typically contain 16 ounces (1 pound weight). Bags vary by size, but are
usually in increments of a pound. I usually buy a 2 pound bag (32 ounces).|||powdered sugar usally comes in a pound box
if yours is the pound box....you break it down into ozs.
there is 16 ozs in a pound
there are 8ozs .in a cup
8oz and 8ozs= 16ozs(or 1 lb.)
therefore you have 2 cups in every 1 lb. box!|||usually in a box there is 4 cups. thats a pound of powdered sugar..you could also try reading the side of the box where it explains servings and measurements...
