What of these methods would be safely used ina labaratory to prodce sample of pottasium nitrate?

Which of these methods could safely be used in the laboratory to produce a pure sample of solid potassium nitrate?

A) mix solutions of copper nitrate and potassium chloride and filter the mixture

B) react excess potassium with nitric acid and filter the mixture

C) mix solutions of copper nitrate and potassium chloride and crystallise the solution formed

D) neutralise nitric acid with potassium hydroxide solution and crystallise the solution formed

is it A,B,C or D ??|||D.Why add unwanted rubbish ions of all sorts?Provided you take it easy and get the neutral solution(pH 7) and prevent boiling it will be safe and the product will be a solution of KNO3 in water and without contaminants.
